A First Look at the Finished Mini Hydrangea Collection

A First Look at the Finished Mini Hydrangea Collection

When I shared Collected With Care: The Story Behind My Mini Hydrangea Collection, these paintings were still unfolding—layer by layer, bloom by bloom. Each piece was created slowly, with intention, and without rushing the process.

Today, I’m so happy to finally share the finished collection!

Seeing all four mini hydrangea paintings framed and together feels like a quiet exhale. Each one carries its own personality—soft blues, blush tones, deep greens—but they also speak to one another as a set. They’re meant to feel like small moments gathered over time, the way hydrangeas linger in memory long after the season has passed.

Finished with Intention ❤️

Each painting was completed using layered texture and subtle color shifts, allowing the blooms to feel dimensional and lived-in rather than perfect. I wanted these to feel nostalgic and familiar—like flowers remembered rather than flowers observed.

Once finished, each piece was framed in a warm maple shelf-sitter frame. I love how these frames allow the paintings to live easily in a home—styled on a shelf, tucked into a bookcase, or displayed together as a small collection. They feel collected, not precious. Meant to be lived with.

A Subscriber First Look

This collection will be released on January 31, but as always, my email subscribers will receive first access to the finished pieces before they become publicly available.

If you’re already on my email list, keep an eye on your inbox that morning for an exclusive first look and early access link. These mini originals are one-of-a-kind!

If you’re not yet subscribed, this is the best way to stay connected—to receive early access to new collections, studio updates, and the quiet stories behind my work.

From My Studio to Your Home

This collection was painted slowly, often during small pockets of quiet time, and finished with care. My hope is that whoever brings one of these pieces home feels that same sense of calm—that gentle pause these paintings gave me while creating them.

Thank you for following along, for reading the stories behind the work, and for supporting art.

Warmly, Jenny
