Painting on Translucent “Paper”
Recently I have been experimenting on a new surface — Yupo Translucent substrate.
Yupo translucent feels like paper, but is actually a synthetic substrate. It has a translucent, smooth surface with flexibility to work with different mediums to create unique results. I love that it comes in a variety of sizes!

Yupo Translucent Substrate
I used Yupo Translucent surface to paint festive Christmas- themed mixed-media paintings. I really love how vibrant the colors turned out!
Here are the materials I used (all products are linked!) to create the vibrant Christmas- theme paintings. Most of my art supplies are purchased from Blick Art Materials Where you can find the best art supplies at the best prices!
Materials:
Stabilo Metallic Markers (Gold & Copper)
Liquitex Acrylic Gouache Paint (white)
Watercolor Paint Brush
Cup of water
Paper towels for cleaning up any messes
